Student Life
Biblical training is more than what happens in the classroom. Student life at Cornerstone is shaped by Scripture, Christian fellowship, worship, service, and preparation for a lifetime of faithful ministry.
LIFE AT CORNERSTONE
Growing Together in Knowledge, Character, and Service
Our desire is not simply to provide students with theological knowledge, but to see the truth of God’s Word shape the whole of life. Students learn alongside one another, worship together, build lasting Christian friendships, and grow in their ability to serve Christ and His church.
Life Beyond the Classroom
The life of the college is intentionally centred on the ordinary means through which Christians grow in faith, wisdom, fellowship, and service.
Study
Students devote themselves to the careful study of Scripture, theology, church history, and ministry, learning to understand and faithfully communicate God’s Word.
Worship
Prayer, the reading of Scripture, preaching, and Christian worship are an important part of college life, reminding us that theological study should always lead us to know and love God.
Community
Students share life with fellow believers from different backgrounds, encouraging one another, forming friendships, and learning to live together in Christian love.
Service
Training is directed toward service. Students are encouraged to use what they are learning for the good of local churches, families, and communities.
CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY
Learning and Growing Together
Christian formation happens in community. Students study together, share meals and conversations, pray for one another, and encourage each other as they grow in their understanding of Scripture and prepare for Christian service.
We want the college to be a place where theological education strengthens both the mind and the heart — where students learn not only what to believe, but how the truth of God’s Word shapes humility, faithfulness, love, and service.
A DAY AT CORNERSTONE
An Average Day at Cornerstone Bible College
Each day combines the study of God’s Word with prayer, fellowship, shared meals, and preparation for Christian life and ministry.
Chapel & Prayer
The college day begins by gathering around God’s Word. Students and staff pray together, hear Scripture taught, sing, and begin the day’s studies with their attention directed toward Christ.
Morning Classes
Students spend the morning studying Scripture and theology together. Classes are designed to deepen biblical understanding while developing the skills needed to read, explain, and teach God’s Word faithfully.
Lunch & Fellowship
Shared meals are an important part of community life. Lunchtime gives students and staff space to talk, laugh, encourage one another, and build friendships outside the classroom.
Afternoon Study & Training
The afternoon continues with classes, guided study, discussion, assignments, and practical ministry training. Students are encouraged to connect what they learn in theology with the realities of Christian life and service.
Work & Recreation
After formal classes finish, students have time for fellowship, practical responsibilities, recreation, ministry opportunities, and life together within the college community.
Dinner, Study & Fellowship
Evenings provide time for meals, personal study, conversation, prayer, and fellowship. The ordinary rhythms of life together are an important part of learning to encourage and serve one another.
