JOFC helped me truly understand the gospel of grace. My legalistic heart was transformed into one that rests on Christ’s grace, and I now have a genuine love for God and His Word. My passion is to help others experience the same life-changing gospel.

God’s Word in 2 Timothy 2:2 is at the heart of the partnership between Cornerstone Presbyterian Church and JOFC. Since 2009, our annual short-term mission trips and online programs have been joyful opportunities to see students grow deeper in their faith and become a blessing to others. Many are now serving on staff or in ministry, while raising their own families to love and follow Jesus.

JOFC has helped me see who God truly is and how this truth transforms my life for His glory. It has given me a desire to make Him known and to see lives transformed into what God designed them to be.

JOFC has helped me understand the gospel in a more biblical and Christ-centered way. It has also taught me how to preach God’s Word faithfully and how to interpret Scripture with Christ at the center. Through JOFC, I have learned not only how to understand the Bible correctly, but also how to communicate the gospel clearly and faithfully to others.

I used to be a prideful person hiding behind a mask of outward humility. At JOFC, the true gospel of Jesus Christ, who is truly humble, completely transformed my proud, selfish heart and self-centered life. By God’s grace, through JOFC, He has granted me the desire and conviction to faithfully study, obey, and teach His Word in the church.

Before JOFC, I relied on my own knowledge, abilities, and confidence. Through studying at JOFC, God taught me humility and the heart of Jesus Christ. Today, I seek to apply His Word to my own life first, depend on His grace, and serve others with love, using what He has taught me.
